Cullen often has certain things he will say for a week or two, then find something else to say. Lately he has chosen 2 new things to say....and they seem to be sticking.
Cullen seems to like to start off a converstion, or any sentence as far as that goes with, "SO". It's "so Mommy..." or "So, I just finished breakfast" etc... It reminds me of when I used to say "So let me tell ya". That was a key phrase of mine when I first met Trent. He pointed it out all of the time, but I don't think I say it anymore. I wonder if I shortened it to "SO", because Cullen would have gotten that somewhere.
The other choice phrase of his is, "Wanna know why? Because I did". For example I had the boys outside yesterday. Cullen said he wanted to get some toys so he comes back outside with a few toys and said " I got these toys....wanna know why???" I asked why thinking he was going to tell me why he chose those particular toys but, no he answers, "Because I did". This is the standard answer these days....it might vary to "because I am, because I do, because I wanted to"...either way, it always starts with because, and ends with no actual reason or answer. Half of our conversation end up here, lol. It's actually quite cute, and his logic often makes me giggle.Oh, to be 4 and not need any other reason to do anything, other than just "because"....simple and honest. He doesn't need to be any other way. I'm sure wishing these answers were acceptable as an adult.
