A touch of spring............

Isn't it funny how spring works...one day there is no blossoms on flowers and the very nest morning you wake up and there are blossoms!!!!! I couldn't resist taking some macro shots of them. I have no idea what these flowers are but they are early bloomers.

Theis of of early blossoms from my rhodedonron plant.
This last picture is of a pansy (which seems to have no problem growing in my flowers bed!!!!

Hey Vicky
Lovely shots. The first plant is a hyacinth (not sure of the spelling). I love the spring flowers, they are so pretty after a long winter.

The first plant is actually GRAPE hyacinth..different from the larger dutch hyacinths that have strong fragrance. Beautiful. I had lots of scilla this year and am going to plant more in the fall. It really helps lessen the late winter/earlyish spring blahs.
Should I tell you the lilacs are in full bloom here now?
