I was pleased to have helped out a friend this year for a competetion/pageant called the "Ms. Galaxy Contest". This friend had been in this competetion in previous years and did very well!!
In those past years she had asked a friend to take her pictures but felt that they weren't "looking the same" as the other contestants photos.
I had told her that I was looking for people to put in my portfolio and she needed portraits for the photogenic aspect of competetions. So, I took her pictures.
There were some requirements such as she needed some 3/4 length pictures, and with sash and crown.
We had over a 2 hour session, and I took over 200 pictures, but we were both pleased with the process and she has said she would be avaiable anytime for more pics. Rose is beautiful, in fact she isn't wearing make-up in these pictures at all!!!! I took some photos that involve a lot of bare skin and and satin sheet, but I told her that I would not include those in my portfolio therefore cannot show them to you. I will say they that they turned out very nicely, and am so happy that she let me take them!!! PS: Some people are probably getting tired of hearing about my photography, but it is summer and I am not teaching and this is what I am doing...so, this is what I have to talk about!
